Scholarships

“I just wanted to thank you again for the scholarship to attend the Litigation CLE in Stevenson… I so appreciate your awareness of the benefit of this event for an inexperienced attorney and willingness to help make it a reality.”

The Litigation Section offers scholarships to some of the continuing education programs we sponsor. Individuals interested in any of these scholarships should submit their name to the Chair of the Litigation Section for consideration and additional information.

Litigation Institute and Retreat

This program is held annually in the spring. Nationally renowned speakers join Oregon practitioners and judges in presenting exceptionally informative and useful programs related to Oregon civil litigation and trial practice.

The Section offers two sets of scholarships to the Litigation Institute and Retreat.

The Dennis Rawlinson Scholarships are three scholarships awarded to lawyers working in the public service sector. These scholarships are given to honor the tremendous contribution that Dennis Rawlinson has made to the Litigation Institute & Retreat, and are an acknowledgment of Dennis’ strong commitment to public service.

The Robert Neuberger Memorial Scholarships are three additional scholarships (and sometimes four) that are awarded to first-time attendees. These scholarships are given to honor the outstanding contribution that Robert Neuberger has made to the Litigation Institute & Retreat, and are an acknowledgment of Robert’s strong commitment to educating newer lawyers. Each scholarship will cover the cost of the CLE, dinner, and one night’s lodging.

Please contact the Litigation Section Chair for an application or more information.
